You’ll work directly with the people who own the company.
Nautica Blu was founded by Carly and Paco. Paco has spent his career as a naturalist guide in the Galápagos, including years on expedition voyages in the islands, and he knows the operators and their crews from inside the industry. Carly runs every charter personally, from the first email to the morning you fly home. You’re not booking through an agency that has never set foot on the vessel.
Why you can book with confidence
A US company, paid in US dollars.
Here’s the honest version of the thing that gives most people pause. You’re about to send a serious sum of money to a company you’ve just met, in a foreign country, for a trip you haven’t taken yet. That’s a fair concern, and we’d rather meet it head-on than hope you don’t notice it.
Nautica Blu is a US registered LLC. You contract with a US business, pay into a US bank account, and everything is invoiced and handled in US dollars. We live and work in the Galápagos, which is what lets us look after you on the ground, but the business itself runs through the United States. You’re paying an American company, at home, in your own currency.
How we work
A few things we hold to.
We don't sell seats. We sell whole yachts.
We never book strangers together.
Your boat is your family or your friends, and only them. That's the whole point of a private charter.
We only work with operators we'd put our own family on.
Three hand-picked operators in the islands, and not one we have reservations about. If we wouldn't sail on it, we won't sell it.
We don't disappear after the deposit clears.
The people who plan your trip are with you through to the day you fly home. No handoffs, no going quiet.
In good company
The operators we charter.
All of them, side by side, on the fleet page.
We don’t own boats. We work with a small group of premium Galápagos operators we trust completely, and add our own people and handling on top of every charter.
